*I know I'm kinda late with this, but The Raconteurs are pretty sweet. I really only knew them for "Steady As She Goes." I'm through song 6(i like) on the cd and I really dig songs 2 and 5 the most.

*A thought from earlier: I rarely buy Tic Tacs because they're just so damn noisy. However, yesterday I needed to spend the last buck on a gift card, so naturally, in the check out lane, I needed to spend that last bit and figured -fuck it- I'll just buy these tic tacs for 69 cents... I paid for it dearly today though. rattle rattle rattle... I guess, that's just the sacrifice you gotta make for Tic Tacs. Really though... Orange or mint?

I really hate the after haircut itchy neck...

I really like the new Spoon album (maybe it's because of the album title?: "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.") This is ANOTHER band that I've had on iTunes for a while but haven't really listened to them other than "the way we get by." I heard "Don't Make Me a Target" this weekend on the Impact, then picked up an edition of REAL DETROIT with SPOON on the cover... They are apparently playing in Detroit on Wednesday at the "Comerica Cityfest." So if you are around Detroit July 4th, go see them. I have to work :( :( :( and won't be going. This does, however, make me want to go to at least ONE kick ass concert before the summer ends... Hmmm....

Another thing: In that "Umbrella" song by Rihanna (SP???)... I really hate the "eh eh eh eh" part after the "ella ella ella" part. The whole song grinds my gears.

Another thing too: I was listening to a podcast this weekend talking about "what makes a song theeee summer song." Beating out 4 other awful contestants, the winner was this song called "Lip Gloss." yikes. Last year's winner was "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley and the year before was "Hey Ya" by Outkast.

I have turned my back on LJ and have been cheating on it with Facebook... I have been going superpoke happy... throwing sheep... karate chopping... and even roundhouse kicking. I have purely been using LJ for video posts. For that, I am sorry... Some words?

Well, Icky Thump is pretty different. Mostly listened to first half of album so far. Songs 1 and 2 are stellar.

Olivia Tremor Control! I've had them on my playlist for a while, but haven't really given them a good listen till now. Like a lot. Catchy first half of the album as well... Trying to get through all 27 songs...

Life lately?
Can't believe it's almost July... Days have been hit or miss... Lunches at 3... Occasional Sundays worked... Lots of Nnnyeah'ing, Hassling of Andrew Ball, and general stupidity with the roommates... Growing an addiction to NPR, PODCASTS, and iPhone commercials. ...Played Guitar Hero the other night and I think I might be hooked... Chinchillas are cool little animals (I met Chico and Albert this weekend)... Need a new computer baaaaad. Rotten Nectarines at Meijer breaks my heart...

HOWEVER, my weekends have been awesome (I have those days I just don't want to get out of bed). Love in the summer is amazing. Looking forward to so much the next few months.

As for a new Vlog? I have halted the process because I have been spending my time cookin up a new video for DrunkDial.org ... However, I might just need to post a new Vloggy Vlog about the wonderfullnessssss of Chantillys. Really, just amazing.

Oh yeah, and, the DrunkDial video will be so fucking happy, you might just have to smile by the end of it.

I feel like I'm not getting the right "volume" in my current shampoo. Any help?

I found out last night (on ABC's Nightline) that Barack Obama smokes cigs. I don't know why this is interesting to me, but it is. He has 4 to 5 marlboro reds a day. However, it is reported he is now chewing nicorette and attempting to quit. Apparently, people are willing to pay a pretty penny for pictures of him smoking. When he starts to make his Presidential campaign across the country keep a camera handy, I guess!

We (me and Tom) need events for the "Mark and Tom Winter Olympics 2007"

I already have a few in mind, but humor me and name off some crazy, snow filled, dangerous, death-defying, insane, whack-o, snowy Winter events!

I saw THIS movie tonight and I was amazed. I haven't seen anything like it in a while. The mystery of what this fantasy world is all about mixed in with moments of brutal violence, had me emotionally attached. Strong performances all around and some really sweet graphics/creatures. Anyways, I won't try to be a movie critic any longer... in closing, though... If you don't like subtitles: fuck off, you forget they are even there!

See it! and try not to squirm too much...
